Patch created on January 20 2012 Patch SPR#: 31794 SPRs fixed: //**************************************************************** Problem: 1. When tx address insertion feature is disable and pause frame generation feature is used on the 10G MAC, the 10G MAC will not insert the source address field to the generated pause frame. 2. When CRC insertion is disable, the CRC will not added to the MAC generated pause frame. Solution: Solution for this will be regardless of the configuration, MAC will insert the source address and CRC for the pause frame. After the fix, if user choose not to insert source address, MAC will not insert the source address for normal frame but the generated pause frame will contain the source address that being set by user. User can set the source address for transmit path on registers: tx_addrins_macaddr0 and tx_addrins_macaddr1. In addition, regardless of the configuration, generated pause frame will contain the CRC if CRC on transmit path had been enabled.
