BlueArc's Titan 2000 Series is designed to meet the requirements of today's sophisticated enterprise data centers and high-performance applications with new levels of storage performance, scalability, and reliability. BlueArc's Titan 2000 Series includes two models: the Titan 2100 Storage System, and the Titan 2200 Storage System. One of the highest performing, most scalable network storage systems, the Titan 2100 and 2200 systems have the following features:
- A single storage pool that can scale up to 512 terabytes
- Approximately 100,000 SPECsfs operations per second on a single node
- Approximately 200,000 SPECsfs operations per second in a dual-node configuration
- A single namespace with true linear scalability
The Titan 2100 Storage System delivers 5 Gbps of throughput and scalability to 256 terabytes, while the Titan 2200 Storage System delivers 10 Gbps of throughput and scalability to 512 terabytes. Both systems come standard with advanced connectivity options, including six client-facing Gigabit Ethernet ports and four, 4-Gigabit fibre channel ports, delivering the highest available throughput in a single network storage device. Both the Titan 2100 and Titan 2200 systems offer a 10-Gigabit cluster interconnect port between systems and a single unified namespace between clustered Titan devices.
"BlueArc's Titan 2000 series offers uncompromising performance, scalability, IOPs, and throughput thanks to a unique hardware architecture powered by Altera® FPGAs. All mission-critical components in today's infrastructures can benefit from embedded hardware from network switches and routers to network storage. BlueArc is delivering today on this proven technology evolution led by Altera's innovation. Altera's Stratix series devices help give us that edge."
