Stratix II FPGAs have stronger digital signal processing (DSP) capabilities, better memory, higher memory bandwidth, and more I/O support. MAX II CPLDs provide higher capacity, higher speed, lower cost, and lower power consumption. Cyclone II devices provide many advantages and are very competitively priced compared with ASICs in high volumes."
