When Altera was founded, the concept of corporate environmental responsibility was gaining momentum, especially in California. As our green timeline illustrates, environmental concerns became a part of Altera's corporate culture early on.
Beginning with simple eco-friendly recycling and conservation efforts when the company was very young, Altera has continued to seek new opportunities to be green and friendly to the environment.
Today, our products use less power, our facilities are designed and operated to reduce our environmental impact, and our commitment to corporate environmental stewardship is demonstrated in many ways large and small across the company.
