Does Altera Sponsor Visas?
Altera hires qualified candidates who are authorized to work in the U.S. This includes U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. legal permanent residents, temporary residents granted legalization under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, people granted asylum, and refugees. Altera sponsors non-immigrant visas (i.e., H-1, F-1, TN) for jobs where there is demonstrated shortage of qualified U.S. candidates (i.e., design engineers, software engineers, information technology-related positions, etc.).
Does Altera Offer Relocation for Students?

When Does Altera Recruit?
We typically recruit on college campuses twice a year (in the fall and spring) for technical majors.
Where Are Altera's Jobs Located?
Most of Altera's US-based opportunities are located in San Jose, California, with a number also located in San Diego, California, and Chelmsford, Massachusetts. We also have new college graduate positions available internationally.
