Responsibilities:
As a Network Systems Administrator, you will be working in a dynamic & challenging environment. You will be responsible for:
- Researching, evaluating, designing, architecting, procuring & implementing new innovative Windows infrastructure technologies that drive business proficiency, cost effectiveness, process simplification & BU-IT alignment
- Assisting in the development of short, mid & long term technology roadmap
- Providing insights to architectural re-engineering to lower TCO
- Administering, maintaining, & enhancing of our Windows platform infrastructure services including but not limited to Windows 2000/3 & Longhorn servers, Active Directory, TCP/IP suite of applications such as DDNS, DHCP, WINS, SMTP, POP3, NNTP, SNMP, FTP, NTP, HTTP(S) etc, Exchange/Outlook messaging, systems/components monitoring, systems scripting & automation, patch management, Citrix secure remote access with ISA, & systems/applications virtualization thru Microsoft & VMWare products
- Performance monitoring & analysis of Windows servers, performing systems audit & security management
- Assisting in daily level-3 production support of global Windows infrastructure
- Tape backup & restoration. - Developing standard policies, procedures & documentation
- Maintaining availability, serviceability, & reliability of the production and development environment
Qualifications include:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or other computing-related degrees with a minimum of 5-11 years of IT systems infrastructure experience in similar capacity
- You must possess profound technical knowledge & practical experiences in Windows OS & infrastructure components, managing Exchange/Outlook messaging & Citrix MPS infrastructure for a worldwide user base, & the implementation of resilient clustering technologies on Microsoft & Symantec products
- You must be familiar with virtualization technologies such as VMWare ESX range of products & the upcoming Microsoft Server Virtualization
- Must be willing to be on pager support
- Must possess good communication (verbal & written) skills
