Responsibilities:
As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and verification of features for Quartus II software and Intellectual Property product offerings. You will work with high-level product and test plan specifications developed by your manager, with your participation, and learn to use state-of the art tools, languages and technologies in the process. You will also work closely with senior engineers at other sites to develop new technology, analyze and correct test failures to improve Software and IP feature quality and help to transfer engineering expertise to a new engineering team.
Qualifications include:
- BS in EE/CS/CE, or equivalent, with 0-2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Coursework or experience in software engineering.
- Coursework or experience with basic electrical engineering.
- Coursework or experience with logic design.
- Experience creating logic designs in Verilog or VHDL is a plus.
- Experience creating designs in any FPGA design-tools is a plus.
- Experience implementing complex software in C/C++ or Java programming languages is a plus.
- Fluency and experience in TCL, Perl or Shell-scripting is a plus.
- Direct experience using software development and release-methodology (build, QA, source-control, etc.) is a plus.
- Demonstrated capability to work as a team-player.
- Personal drive to work on challenging technical projects.
- Fluency in English, especially writing skills, is required.
- Must be Vietnamese national or legally entitled to work in Vietnam.
