Responsibilities:
As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
- CAD tools and methodology applications support.
- Improving the design flow/methodology by evaluating solutions from external vendors or developing internal solutions.
- Communicating with vendors on software feature improvements and bug fixes.
- Working closely with Design/Layout Engineers to understand the problem domain and come up with innovative solutions.
Qualifications include:
- BSc/Msc in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, or equivalent, with a minimum of two years of experience.
- Experience with VLSI design and UNIX computing environment.
- Knowledgeable in Perl, C-shell, C/C++ and/or other software languages.
- Strong communication skills and excellent analytical and debugging skills.
- Experience with commercial EDA tools is a plus.
