Responsibilities:
As a Financial Analyst, you will provide finance and business support to the general manager and country managers to drive business results. In this role, you will:
- Review month-end reports and be responsible for month-end closing activities.
- Prepare Asia Pacific headcount, capital expenditure and spending annual plan, forecast and related variance analysis.
- Supervise overseas accountants in handling the finance and accounting activities in the region.
- Work with overseas accountants, tax advisors, auditors, lawyers, bankers and US head office regarding the annual statutory financial audit and miscellaneous statutory filing for the local offices in the region.
- Provide internal control review for the region.
- Perform other ad hoc financial projects and analysis as requested by management.
Qualifications include:
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years of experience working in MNC.
- Qualified accountant with professional membership with HKICPA or equivalent.
- Asia Pacific experience is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with various levels within the company.
- Ability to identify complex issues and be able to communicate them and provide solutions.
- Self starter, independent, organized and motivated.
- Excellence in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
