Altera Enhances Web Search Engine to Facilitate Part Number Searches
San Jose, Calif., November 2, 2001 -- Customers searching for detailed technical information on Altera programmable logic devices (PLDs) can now quickly obtain literature such as data sheets, application notes, pin-out and package information by entering a full or partial device part number into the www.altera.com search engine.
The enhanced search engine is built to provide designers with an organized and easy-to-view list of all the available device part numbers and technical literature they need to design with an Altera PLD for system-on-a-programmable-chip (SOPC) solutions.
"We're leveraging the web to make it quick and easy for our existing and potential customers to design SOPC solutions," said Craig Leclair, Altera's senior director for online marketing. "www.altera.com is a one-stop shop for all system design needs, from product information to test driving intellectual property to online customer support."
