SoC Online 2003: Altera Shares Insight on Manufacturing Risks and Rewards

What:

Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) is participating in the 2003 SoC Online Conference, “Tooling Up for 2003.”   This series of seven interactive presentations sponsored by Electronic Engineering Times will be held Oct. 14-15.  The conference will focus on some of the key market and technology challenges facing the SoC community in the next 12 to 18 months.  Francois Gregoire, Altera’s vice president of technology will participate in the conference’s panel discussion, “Which Processes Do I Use:  A Consideration of Risk, Competitive Advantage, and Engineering Realism”, chaired by Ron Wilson, Electronic Engineering Times’ silicon engineering editor.  Representatives from Agere, Kawasaki Microelectronics, LSI Logic, and PDF Solutions, Inc. will also participate in the panel.

Gregoire will also present at one of the sessions following the panel discussion.   His topic will be “Lessons Learned from 0.13-Micron: Applying Best Practices for 90-nm Chip Design.”
