Altera Receives Request for Information from SEC
San Jose, Calif., Sept. 22, 2005—Altera Corporation (NASDAQ:ALTR) today announced that it has received a request from the Securities and Exchange Commission asking the company to voluntarily provide information relating to the company’s communications with equity analysts and their firms. The company is cooperating fully in this matter.
As previously stated, Altera’s policy is to grant access to all analysts who cover the company.
