Altera Announces Investor Meetings
San Jose, Calif., November 28, 2005— Altera Corporation (Nasdaq: ALTR) today announced that it will host meetings for the investment community on December 5 in Boston and December 6 in New York. The Boston meeting will begin at 3:00 PM, and the New York meeting will begin at 2:00 PM. A live web cast will be provided for both meetings and will be accessible through the investor relations section of the company’s web site at www.altera.com.
In addition to a discussion of Altera’s strategic direction and growth prospects, the company will provide additional guidance for 2006. As previously announced, the company will issue a fourth quarter business update press release after the market close on December 5.
