John Daane and T.J. Rodgers to Discuss What's Next for the Semiconductor Industry at ESC 2005

John Daane, president, chief executive officer, and chairman of the board of Altera Corp. (NASDAQ: ALTR), and T.J. Rodgers, founder, president, and chief executive officer of Cypress Semiconductor Corp.(NYSE:CY), will discuss the renaissance of the semiconductor industry on a C-level panel titled “After the Storm. How the Industry Changed Forever.” The panel will discuss how the industry has changed since the “dot-com” bubble burst and “9/11,” how further globalization of manufacturing will impact the industry, and what technology trends are likely to guide the industry through the next quarter-century.
EE Times’ editor-in-chief Brian Fuller will moderate the panel at the 2005 Embedded Systems Conference. Bruce Rayner, editor-in-chief of Electronics Supply & Manufacturing will also join in the panel discussion.
