Altera Expands Presence in China
Opens New Technical Sales Office in Chengdu
San Jose, Calif., May 15, 2007—Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) today announced the opening of a new sales and technical support office in Chengdu, China, to service the region’s rapidly expanding market for programmable logic. The new Chengdu office—Altera’s fourth in mainland China—reflects Altera’s commitment to align closely with China’s electronics design community as it continues to become a center of global innovation.
