Tokyo, January 15, 2007—
What:
Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) will showcase its HardCopy® II structured ASICs at the upcoming Electronic Design and Solution Fair 2007 (EDSFair2007) in Yokohama. HardCopy II devices feature a unique FPGA front-end design methodology that allows a seamless migration to structured ASICs for volume production.
Through presentations and exhibits, attendees will learn how to develop their product with Quartus® II design software, implement, test and verify the design with Stratix® II and Stratix III FPGAs, and seamlessly migrate the design to a low-cost HardCopy II structured ASIC device.
Visitors to Altera’s booth (#108) will see demonstrations of the following technology:
- HardCopy II structured ASICs: The industry's only risk-free migration from FPGA prototype to structured ASIC production
- Stratix II and Stratix III FPGAs: The industry’s highest density, highest performance, lowest power FPGAs
- Quartus II design software: The industry’s first design tool to offer a unified design flow for the development of FPGAs, CPLDs, and structured ASICs
Additionally, visitors to the booth will see several Altera® customer boards powered by HardCopy structured ASICs.
Altera will also deliver presentations at exhibitor seminars:
