Shenzhen, China, January 30,2007—Altera Corporation (NASDAQ: ALTR) today announced that it has received the “Outstanding Contribution Award” from Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics Co. Ltd. (NYSE: MR), a global leader in the development, manufacturing and marketing of medical devices in Shenzhen, China. This recognition was given to Altera for providing outstanding support and innovative products and technology to Mindray.

The award was presented to Altera in December at the 2006 Mindray Supplier Conference.
