Getting Started
Altera has partnered with industry-leading vendors—the Altera® Embedded Alliance—to provide a best-in-class portfolio of software development tools, operating systems support, and design services to accelerate your embedded development for the MP32 processor.
Product Documentation
The MP32 processor is distributed by our partner, System Level Solutions, Inc. (SLS). Learn more about the MP32 processor and its exact specifications from SLS's MP32 product page. You can also download, evaluate, and purchase the MP32 IP core from SLS.
Hardware Development
The fastest way to start developing a system for the MP32 processor is to begin with the MP32 Hardware Reference Design. This reference design works with the Qsys system integration tool, available in Quartus® II design software. The MP32 Hardware Reference Design can be targeted to any of Altera's or SLS's development kits. Use it to begin developing your FPGA design and also to get started with your embedded software application.
The MP32 processor supports Open Core Plus, which provides risk-free evaluation at no cost. In addition, SLS provides design services including board support packages (BSPs) and a variety of FPGA IP cores. Download the core today.
Software Development Tools
The MP32 processor is fully supported by a variety of design and debugger tools, including:
Operating Systems
The MP32 processor is designed to run a variety of operating systems and is the only FPGA processor to support the Wind River VxWorks OS.
Evaluate the VxWorks OS on the hardware reference design discussed above by downloading the Stratix® III FPGA Development Kit BSP from the Wind River BSP Site. Get more details about the Stratix III FPGA Development Kit.
Technical Training
