Global Signal Processing Expo & International Signal Processing Conference

Implementing Reconfigurable DSP Designs in FPGAs - Conference Workshop
Monday, March 31, 2003, 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM
This workshop encompasses Altera solutions for today's digital signal processing (DSP) design challenges. Highlights include showing FPGA designs using the DSP Builder interface within the Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB)-Simulink environment, incorporating Altera's intellectual property (IP) into DSP designs, and seeing designers use these IP cores as hardware accelerators for DSP systems. The workshop also covers Altera's SOPC Builder tool, and a C-based design flow using the Nios® configurable RISC processor for implementing control-code and low-performance DSP algorithms. Attendees, which should include anyone implementing DSP algorithms in FPGAs, will learn how to maximize system performance.
Altera Featured Technology
The International Signal Processing Conference (ISPC) Technical Review Committee requested Altera to present three conference papers.
- High-performance, low-cost FPGA correlator for wide-band code-division multiple access (CDMA) and other wireless applications (Wednesday, April 2)
- Design methodology for DSP hardware acceleration (Tuesday, April 1)
- Soft multipliers for DSP applications (Tuesday, April 1)
Event Details
Engineers, designers, software developers, marketers, and end users all need to be ready for the next generation of signal processing products and designs. The Global Signal Processing Expo (GSPx) & International Signal Processing Conference offers them that opportunity. The GPSx Conference will:
- Bring together engineering customers and prospects
- Focus on signal processing applications and the building of next-generation products
- Offer attendees the opportunity to learn about signal processing and related technologies
