Course Description
Note: Altera recommends using DSP Builder Advanced Blockset for new designs. This allows design optimization to the required system Fmax, for latency control, vector & multi-channel designs, advanced math functions & support fixed point & single & double precision floating point datapath. Altera recommends to use Standard Blockset as a wrapper to DSP Builder Advanced Blockset to access features like SignalTap II, HIL, & to import HDL. Learn the essentials of using DSP Builder to implement your DSP system. You'll learn the DSP Builder design flow including how to use it with the MathWorks MATLAB® & Simulink® tools. Release 9.0 of the Quartus® II software is used to illustrate the concepts. You'll know how to use DSP Builder to implement your Simulink application with FPGA devices.At Course Completion
You will be able to:- Learn and use the DSP Builder development flow
- Use the DSP Builder and the Quartus II software to implement DSP systems
- Use the DSP Builder block set in the MathWorks Simulink software
- Design with IP DSP MegaCore® functions
