Course Description

This training will give you an overview of how to design with the DSP Builder Advanced Blockset. Release 9.1 of the Quartus® II software will be used to illustrate the discussed concepts. After taking this course, you will know how to use the DSP Builder Advanced Blockset and follow a flow to implement your DSP solutions.

At Course Completion

You will be able to:

• Learn when to use the DSP Builder advanced block set
• Use the new DSP Builder advanced block set libraries
• Follow the recommended design flow
• Enable and simulate your design using the ModelSim® simulator
• Compile your Simulink design and obtain a compiled netlist from the Quartus II software

• Using the Quartus II Software: An Introduction

• Basic knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink and the Quartus II software
