Course Description
This course presents the Tcl scripting capabilities in the Quartus® II software v. 11.0. It covers commonly used Quartus II software Tcl packages and four common uses of Tcl scripting in the Quartus II compilation flow, with examples. The course also covers useful Tcl commands in the Quartus II software, accessing command-line options, and running Tcl scripts.At Course Completion
You will be able to:- Understand Tcl scripting support in Quartus II software
- Write scripts to create projects, compile designs, extract report data, run timing analysis reports
- Understand useful Quartus II software-specific Tcl commands
- Run Tcl scripts in Quartus II software to automate design flows
