Course Description

In this training, you will receive an update on the external memory solutions available in conjunction with the Quartus® II software v. 11.0. You will learn about the UniPHY architecture for Stratix® V, Arria® V, and Cyclone® V devices as well as the High Performance Memory Controller II (HPMC II). Finally, you will learn about the multi-ported front end.

At Course Completion

You will be able to:

• Understand the UniPHY architecuture for Altera's 28 nm devices
• Understand the features available with the HPMC II
• Understand the multi-ported memory controller architecture

• Background in digital logic design
• Basic knowledge of memory interfaces
