Course Description
This training will give you an overview of the Transceiver Toolkit in the Quartus® II software version 11.1. You will learn about the 11.1 enhancements in the toolkit, see some design examples, explore their structural details and learn the recommended design flow. You will learn to launch and set up the Transceiver Toolkit for high-speed links. And finally you will learn to start and use the Bit Error Rate (BER) Auto Sweep and EyeQ serial bit comparator tools in Transceiver Toolkit to perform high-speed tests.At Course Completion
You will be able to:- Launch and setup the Transceiver toolkit 11.1 to perform a high-speed link test
- Perform Bit Error Rate (BER) and EyeQ sweep testing using the Auto Sweep and EyeQ features in the toolkit
- Select the PMA settings for your transceivers which gives best signal integrity on your board
