The Altera® DE0-Nano Development and Education board is great for embedded systems and computer organization courses. The board features the Altera Cyclone® IV 4C22 FPGA. When connected to a computer, it is powered through a USB cable. When used in mobile applications, it can be powered by a battery. The board can be used for a wide range of exercises, from simple tasks that illustrate fundamental concepts to advanced designs.
