Overview

Today’s systems demand more performance and higher integration, yet often have fixed power budgets inherited from legacy systems. Choosing low-power solutions is important for thermally challenged and/or space-constrained environments—they can lower costs by reducing or eliminating cooling system costs and also extend battery life for portable applications.

Altera’s low-cost 65-nm FPGAs meet designers' needs to increase system integration and logic capacity, while reducing power and cost.

This 30-minute webcast includes an in-depth look at:

  • Implementing low-power designs on 65-nm FPGAs
  • Getting accurate results from power estimation tools
  • Reducing power consumption in your designs
  • Testing the power consumption of the latest low-cost FPGAs yourself

Who Should Attend

  • FPGA and ASIC developers
  • Engineering and technical managers
  • System architects

Drawing

All participants who attend this webcast between October 22, 2007, and November 16, 2007, and complete the post-presentation survey, will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of five Cyclone III FPGA Starter Kits (US$199).
