Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC)

The ATSC defines standards for digital television, interactive systems, and broadband multimedia communications. The U.S. is one of several countries using ATSC standards for digital television broadcasts.

Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB)

Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG)

Federal Communication Commission (FCC)

The FCC is an independent United States government agency, directly responsible to Congress. The FCC regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable. The FCC also proposes and enforces new broadcast standards within the United States.
