Altera and our partner Eutecus Inc. created the world’s first FPGA-based 1080p30 high-definition (HD) video analytics solution. It gives you the capability to integrate intelligent HD video analytics into your IP camera using a single, low-cost Cyclone® IV FPGA. With its ability to process high-resolution images at 30 frames per second, it is ideal for traffic management applications such as vehicle counting, parking lot monitoring, and detection of pedestrians, potential accidents, and red light violations. Video Analytics 1080p30 Technology
Our technology leverages algorithms that take advantage of the inherent parallelism possible in FPGA hardware to achieve your desired performance target. It leverages Eutecus’ patented multicore video analytics engine which combines massively parallel algorithms and multicore architectures that are optimized to run efficiently in low-cost FPGA-based hardware and software implementations.
