What is the Literature Update Notification service?
The Literature Update Notification service was created for people who want to be kept informed whenever Altera either issues a new piece of literature or releases important technical updates to an existing document.
What type of documentation is included in the update notification?
The update notification notifies you of new and updated technical documentation that appears on Altera's Literature web page. Types of literature currently supported by the service include:

Can I subscribe to receive notification about updates and additions to documentation from other Altera pages?
No. Only technical documentation from Altera's Literature web page is included in the Literature Update Notification service.
How do I subscribe to the Literature Update Notification service?
To subscribe to the Literature Update Notification service, go to https://www.altera.com/literature/updates/registration/upd-registration.jsp to sign up.
How am I notified when technical documentation is updated?
Notification is via email and is sent to the email address registered in the subscriber's Altera account.
How frequently am I notified when technical documentations is added or updated?
Subscribers receive a maximum of one email per week for each category they sign up for. If there are no new or updated documents released for that category during the previous week, no email is sent.
Do I receive email notification if there are no documentation updates?
Subscribers do not receive an email if no new or updated documents were released within the literature category the previous week.
How do I unsubscribe?
To unsubscribe to the Literature Update Notification service, go to http://olm.altera.com/myLiteratureSubscriptions/viewSubscriptions.tml and uncheck applicable categories.
How do I change my subscription?
To change the notification categories in your profile, go to http://olm.altera.com/myLiteratureSubscriptions/viewSubscriptions.tml and check or uncheck applicable categories.
Is the Literature Update Notification service free?
Yes, but you need an Altera.com account. If you do not have an account, you can create one during the registration process. Go to https://www.altera.com/literature/updates/registration/upd-registration.jsp to sign up.
