Overview
AimCom is part of a group of companies that provide design and consultancy services focused on the area of telecom networking technologies such as SDH/SONET, Ethernet, and xDSL. AimCom offers these design services specifically for FPGA and ASIC components, whereas its sister companies focus on hardware, embedded software design, and complete systems. The combined skill set represents all important aspects required for development of complete systems that meet the demanding requirements of communications, industrial, and medical markets.
AimCom has extensive knowledge in a broad range of applications and systems, including:

- Circuit emulation services—TDM over packet

Specializing in the design, implementation, and verification of ASICs and FPGAs, AimCom uses state-of-the-art development tools that allow quick project turn-around of high-density devices (more than 10 million gate equivalents). Designs are implemented on leading platform FPGAs and their embedded soft CPUs or developed as system-on-chip ASIC solutions integrating many functions into a single device.

| Hardware Design | The hardware team covers schematic entry and layout, mechanical and thermal design, and CE certification.
