EnSilica EnSilica has been an Altera® partner since 2001 and in that time has delivered many successful Altera-based solutions to customers ranging from start-ups to blue-chip companies. Our design service specializes in a wide range of key technologies for Altera devices, such as SOPC Builder, Nios®II processor subsystems, Gigabit Ethernet, DDR2/3, USB 2.0, PCI Express, and high-speed serial I/Os. Our designs range from those targeted at low power and cost Cyclone® III devices, to the highest performance Stratix® IV GX device with multi-gigabit interfaces. We have particular application domain knowledge in communications, digital signal processing (DSP), embedded processors, and multimedia. To support our customers' time-to-market objectives, we offer licensing for our highly configurable eSi-Comms and eSi-RISC IP families. These provide silicon-proven intellectual property (IP) optimized for speed and area, taking full account of the many architectural features found in Altera FPGAs, such as embedded memory and DSP blocks.
