The FLEX 10K family ranges from 10,000 to 250,000 typical gates and spans three process generations. Each succeeding generation provides higher performance, lower cost, and lower power consumption than the previous one. The 2.5-V, 0.22-micron FLEX 10KE devices average 20% to 30% faster than the equivalent 0.30-micron FLEX 10KA devices, which operate at 3.3 V. Similarly, FLEX 10KA devices are an average of 20% to 30% faster than the 0.42-micron FLEX 10K devices, which operate at 5.0 V.
