The MAX 7000B device family is the leader among product-term devices in I/O standard support, as these are the only product-term-based programmable logic devices (PLDs) to support GTL+ and SSTL-2 and SSTL-3. MAX 7000B devices support the following I/O standards:
- GTL+
- SSTL-2
- SSTL-3
- PCI (64-bit, 66 MHz)
- LVCMOS
- LVTTL
- 2.5-V I/O
- 1.8-V I/O
MAX 7000B Programmable I/O Blocks
Each MAX 7000B device is divided into two programmable I/O blocks. Each I/O block can be configured independently to utilize any of the I/O standards supported by the MAX 7000B devices. Additionally, some standards can be mixed within a single block. The two programmable I/O blocks each has its own power plane with separate VCCIO pins and support for 3.3-V, 2.5-V, and 1.8-V voltage levels. Figure 1 below is a representation of the MAX 7000B programmable I/O blocks.
