- WinDriver: Easy-to-use driver development tools, which allow you to quickly access and diagnose hardware and automatically generate hardware access source code. Development can be done remotely. The resulting code is source-compatible between all major operating systems (Windows 9x, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows NT Embedded, Windows CE, Linux, Solaris, OS/2, and VxWorks). WinDriver's Kernel technology enables you to write and debug code at the application level, and later run the same code in the Kernel mode, thereby achieving optimal performance. WinDriver provides extended application programming interfaces (APIs) for Altera peripheral component interconnect (PCI) MegaCore® functions, which eliminate the need to read data sheets.
- GO Hot-Swap: Innovative operating system (OS) extension that adds CompactPCI hot-swap support to all major operating systems where this capability is natively unavailable (supported operating systems: Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows NT Embedded, Windows CE, Linux, Solaris, and VxWorks). GO Hot-Swap allows you to immediately achieve hot-swap capabilities with existing PCI drivers or quickly develop fully "hot-swappable" drivers from scratch.
