By taking advantage of the Altera Cyclone® III FPGA's low power features and utilizing highly efficient power conversion solutions from Linear Technology, the LPRP kit provides the flexibility to create and demonstrate application-specific low power solutions for portable, battery powered embedded systems that can be based on either the Altera Nios® II or ARM Cortex M1 embedded soft processor core.
