Overview
Barco Silex, a member of the Altera® Megafunction Partners ProgramSM (AMPP) and the Altera Certified Design Center, is a micro-electronic design house and part of the Belgian Barco electronic group. Its Belgian offices are located in Ghent and in Louvain-la-Neuve, close to Brussels. Barco Silex also maintains a design center in the Aix-en-Provence region of France.
Barco Silex provides a variety of high-level services, from FPGA and ASIC design, to high-end sub-system board development, testing, and delivery. The company offers its customers partnerships with selected intellectual property (IP) providers and ASIC foundries, and leverages its expertise to create system-on-a-chip (SOC) and system-on-a-programmable-chip (SOPC) designs.
Barco Silex covers the entire hardware design process, from component- to system-level design, and provides high-end board design facilities that interface with production. Barco Silex customers include industry leaders and innovators in all areas of electronics worldwide.
