AMPP Partner Profile: Digital Core Design
Overview
Digital Core Design (DCD) provides high-quality VHDL and Verilog HDL, low-cost synthesizable functions for microcontrollers and bus interfaces, and arithmetic coprocessors. DCD combines its customers' application knowledge with intellectual property (IP) functions, system-on-a-programmable-chip (SOPC) solutions, and its own design methodology. The company's mission is to provide high-quality, easy-to-use, technology-independent synthesizable software functions based on VHDL and Verilog HDL.
The RISC architecture of DCD's DR805 device family, when combined with a floating-point coprocessor, allows a rapid increase in application execution speed. This new floating-point extension is fully compliant with the IEEE 754 standard (DR805xFP functions). All functions, emulations, and hardware verifications are performed using Altera® programmable logic devices (PLDs).
Available Products
DCD currently provides the products shown in Table 1.
Note:
- AMPP: Altera Megafunction Partners Program. "AMPP Approved" indicates certified IP cores that meet Altera's sales standards and have passed rigorous engineering testing.
