Magma Design Automation

Overview

Magma Design Automation provides electronic design automation (EDA) software that enables you to meet critical time-to-market objectives, improve chip performance, and handle multimillion-gate designs.

Magma’s programmable logic device (PLD) software technology provides a new generation of fully-automated physical synthesis technology for Altera’s high-performance FPGA device families. Magma's programmable logic physical synthesis solution, Blast FPGA, combines logic optimization, technology mapping, and layout-driven synthesis based on unified and detailed device and interconnect modeling. The result is a predictable and high-performance design without manual interventions, floorplans, or iterations.
