Overview

Taray Inc., with headquarters in Silicon Valley and an R&D center in Hyderabad, India, was founded in 2002. Since its inception, Taray has focused on solving FPGA and board design problems critical to the success of its customers. Currently employing roughly 35 engineers, Taray was awarded the ‘Fastest Growing Startup’ in Hyderabad.

Tools

Taray offers 7Circuits, an FPGA I/O synthesis tool that significantly reduces the system design cycle by automatically creating FPGA pin assignments that are optimized for both the FPGA and the PCB.

Acting as a bridge between the FPGA vendors tools (which are used for FPGA logic synthesis and place and route) and the board-level design tools, 7Circuits automates the multi-dimensional system design effort using a constraint-driven synthesis engine that optimizes the pin assignments to ensure that I/O DRC rules are met while simultaneously considering the routing on the PCB. Once a favorable set of pin locations are chosen, 7Circuits can generate the symbols and schematics for the rest of the design flow. As FPGA pin assignments change, 7Circuits automatically keeps the design database – and the engineering team – synchronized.  7Circuits thus eliminates what is classically a manual process, resulting in shorter design cycles and improved, more reliable products.
