Can I implement both the Altera Serial FlashLoader and the ALTASMI_PARALLEL megafunction in the same design when using the Quartus II software?
Description
Starting from the Quartus® II software version 8.1, you are not allowed to have both the Serial FlashLoader and the ALTASMI_PARALLEL megafunction in the same design. This is because both megafunctions require ASMI interface access and by having both megafunctions in the same design would cause conflict during design compilation.
If you need to access the ASMI interface while having the Serial FlashLoader in your design, turn on the “share ASMI interface with your design” check box in the Serial FlashLoader interface.
