Problem

Can I use the Jam Standard Test and Programming Language (STAPL) Player or Jam STAPL Byte-Code Player with older versions of Jam Files (.jam) and Jam STAPL Byte-Code Files (.jbc)?

Solution

he Jam STAPL Player version 2.12 and Jam STAPL Byte-Code Player version 2.0 both support the JEDEC-standard Standard Test and Programming Language (STAPL) syntax. These Players also support version 1.1 syntax JAM and JBC files.

The MAX+PLUS® II software allows you to specify a particular Jam Player version in the Create Jam/SVF File dialog box before it generates a JAM or JBC file.
