- This is the minimum memory requirement for running the Quartus II software. For detailed information on memory requirements for compilation targeting different device architectures, refer to the readme file.
- Windows XP 64-bit supports only the 32-bit version of the Quartus II software, not the 64-bit version. Additionally, Windows XP 64-bit does not support programming cable drivers for the Quartus II software. You must use another supported operating system to program devices.
- Required Solaris patches are listed in the Quartus II Installation & Licensing Guide for UNIX & Linux Workstations (PDF) manual in the Configuring Each Workstation (Solaris Only) section. Check the readme file for the most up-to-date patch requirements.
