We've unveiled the FPGA industry's first variable-precision DSP block, a key feature in our Stratix® V, Arria® V, and Cyclone® V FPGAs. This innovative block combines native support for higher precision signal processing—such as 18x18, 27x27, and floating point—with the most efficient implementation for common DSP structures, including finite impulse response (FIR) filters and FFTs. Along with other architectural enhancements, the Stratix V, Arria V, and Cyclone V FPGAs are the platforms of choice for high-performance and high-precision signal processing. |
