General Description

TPWX3192 integrates carrier class packet switching and traffic management with 10Gbps Packet over SONET/SDH mapping. The switch part supports E-Line/-LAN/-Tree services through support of MPLS, Ethernet, and pseudo-wire switching and tunneling.

TPWX3192 has fully deterministic performance with any combination of protocols under any loading condition. It supports hardware-based OAM processing with 3.3 msec OAM transmission/reception and sub-50 msec protection switching. The mapper part offers up to 128 VCAT groups based on higher or lower order SONET/SDH containers. LCAS is supported for hitless increase/decrease of capacity.
