Overview

The OSCAR Platform is the MAX10 platform developed mainly for the industrial Ethernet applications. By using the large RAM and FLASH of MAX10, it is possible to evaluate the systems mounted with NIOS II. Extended features such as SDRAM, ROM, and GPIO are also mounted so that more applications can be implemented. Since two 10/100-bit EtherNET ports are available as standard, it is possible to build industrial network using FPGA. For example, by using Beckhoff's IP and Nios II , it is possible to implement the EtherCAT slave with a MAX10 single chip and evaluate.
