User Flash Memory Programmed Incorrectly from Nios II HEX File

    Critical Issue

    Description

    When you use the Nios II software build tools to generate a Hexadecimal (Intel-Format) (.hex) File for the MAX 10 user flash memory, and convert it to an SRAM Object (.sof) File with Qsys, the .sof output might be incorrect. As a result, your Nios II software might behave incorrectly or fail to run on the MAX 10 device.

    Resolution

    Upgrade your software to the Altera Complete Design Suite version 14.1 software update 1.
