Description
You may receive this error message in the New Project dialog box when trying to create a new C/C application project in the Nios® II IDE. This error message occurs because the Nios II IDE cannot find the path to the software examples directories (located under the <Nios II install>/examples/software directory). Make sure nothing is preventing the Nios II IDE from accessing this directory. One program known to block access is the BlackIce firewall.
