Description
You may receive the following error messages when you use the ModelSim®-Altera® software version 6.1d or newer to open a ModelSim project created in versions 6.0e or older:
# ** Error: (vsim-3193) Load of "\win32aloem/../win32aloem/convert_hex2ver.dll" failed: File not found.
# ** Error: (vsim-PLI-3002) Failed to load PLI object file "\win32aloem/../win32aloem/convert_hex2ver.dll".
The convert_hex2ver.dll contains the convert_hex2ver function that has been replaced by a Verilog task in the 220model.v and altera_mf.v library files.
To avoid this error, remove the modelsim.ini file located in your ModelSim project directory or edit the modelsim.ini file and remove the following line:
Veriuser = /../win32aloem/convert_hex2ver.dll
