Why might the Arria V, Cyclone V, or Stratix V device Transceiver Toolkit TCL scripts not work properly?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

The Arria® V, Cyclone® V, or Stratix® V device Transceiver Toolkit TCL scripts may not work properly if the transceiver Reconfiguration Controller IP is not placed at QSYS memory map address 0x0800.

Some TCL scripts used by the Transceiver Toolkit control panel reference a hard coded memory mapped address of 0x0800 for the Reconfiguration Controller IP. If the reconfiguration controller IP is not placed at address 0x0800 in the QSYS project, the TCL scripts may not work properly.

Resolution

To workaround this problem, open your transceiver toolkit design QSYS system and place your transceiver Reconfiguration Controller IP at address 0x0800.

After placing your transceiver Reconfiguration Controller IP at QSYS address 0x0800 you must recompile your Quartus® II project.
