[Tool Name] <version_number> Setup

An error occurred during the move data process: -106

Component: [Component Name]

File Group: <group_name>

File: <filename>

This error may occur for the following reasons:

  1. There is not enough free space on the hard drive to install the software. In this situation you must create more room on the hard drive, or install the software on a different hard drive.

  2. The contents of the CD-ROM cannot be read properly due to variations in the physical media. Although the CD-ROM is not defective, some CD-ROM drives are more susceptible to these variations than others and cannot properly read the contents of the CD-ROM.

In this situation, you can eliminate the error message by trying to use the CD-ROM on a different computer that may not be as susceptible to the variations in the CD-ROM, or you can replace the CD-ROM.
